This is my mother and fathers original 66. Sorry to say, it passed away in `84.
I had the change to get in touch with the last owner, and the rest was the tires.
So I guess, I was "born" into VW ;)  I have used the tent, which is a drag, wheights a tonn, takes like 3 till 4 hours to set up, considered the amount of fluid you put in.
